They helped me out and get the suit to me in a slightly tighter time frame from their usual… Eduardo did a great job with the fitting and was great when I picked up the suit. I can’t count the number of compliments I’ve gotten and I’ve only worn the suit a couple of times.” - John I.

You can schedule a consultation online at www.europeancustomtailor.com.

It may take a little bit of time to get measured and to build your suit, but the end result is worth it. Charity Drive

This time of year seems to hold a little bit of magic. After the leaves change and fall off the trees, the days get shorter and the air gets colder, and snow starts to fall - ushering in the Christmas holiday - a certain feeling seems to overtake the entire world. Christmas and the holidays bring a spirit of love and giving that is incomparable to any other time of year. Despite the crazy hustle and bustle of getting shopping and decorating done, it's still easy to get carried away in the delight of the holidays including tempting treats, beautiful lights, and the wonderful joy of gift giving. Considering all this, it's no wonder that a charity drive tends to receive the bulk of their donations during the holiday season! What a wonderful time to give.

It's not just the spirit of the holidays, though. With the cold winter days and nights that Utah knows so well, it's hard not to be concerned for the welfare of our friends and neighbors who don't have the coats, or even shelter that they need in order to keep warm.

Utah had nearly 3,000 homeless residents as of January 2017 and although the number of homeless people has dropped in the last few years, it's still much too high.

Because of our concern, we've teamed up with a couple of local businesses to help ensure the warmth of Utah's underprivileged and homeless population. We have teamed up with Roger Christensen of Bank of Utah and Kasey Christensen of Arctic Circle to try and make a difference by hosting the sixth annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls charity drive.

Warm Bodies, Warm Souls is an effort to collect the things needed to help Utahns who would otherwise go without. Along with Bank of Utah and Arctic Circle, we've offered up all of our business locations as donation centers where you can bring new or gently used coats, socks, hats, gloves, or even cash.

"We're thrilled to be part of this organization and to be able to give back to our community." - President Ryan Fish

All donations are collected and then distributed to nine organizations all over Utah where they can then be given to those in need and make a real difference. The charitable organizations that donations are distributed to are:

Charity Drive Donations

If you've been looking for a good cause to donate to, Warm Bodies, Warm Souls is one that is good and honest. And if you're on a budget, no problem. It doesn't have to cost you a thing. Look through your closet or go through the clothes your kids have outgrown and donate what you can spare.

Clothes are powerful. Dressing better makes you feel better. There isn't any doubt about that. Being naked has its own power too, but that's a whole other topic to explore. Mark Twain once said ""Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society." Clothing as the old saying goes does make a man or woman. Time and time again we've seen how just the right look can transform someone.

When you put on just the right outfit, whether it's a killer suit, gorgeous dress, or even a pair of your favorite skinny jeans that fit just right, they have the ability to take your from ordinary to extraordinary.

Clothes can even make you appear more confident and successful when worn the right way. This is especially true in high-powered business situations, either in or out of the office. Dress how you want to be perceived and it can even help you advance in life.

Why Clothes Matter

People judge other people. This is so very true in a work environment. The reason clothes matter is to be successful, you have to look the part. Dressing with confidence can somehow make you more confident. It's just that simple.

Consider how you might dress for a job interview. You pull out all the stops, either donning a sharp well made suit as a man, or that amazing pair of Prada heels to go with your Celine pencil skirt, for a woman who knows how to influence minds with her clothing. People in positions of authority will notice when you look your best. When you aren't dressed well, people will naturally assume that you are careless in other aspects of your life, like your work ethic.

Dressing For Your Own Brand

Not only do others look at you as capable when you dress well, but you'll think of yourself as powerful. Be on top of the world and able to do anything, when you wear the right clothing. Think of yourself as a brand and dress accordingly. This is advice given by Forbes Magazine, whose influence on the business world is well known.

Make sure that whatever you wear is fitted correctly. Keep your style up-to-date and always have confidence in what you wear. If you love how you're dressed, chances are that other people will notice your bold attitude. Need assistance with some styling tips? Read our published blog post today.

An Important Study About Dressing

Michael Slepian of Columbia University and his research associates did five different studies on how formal clothing can affect thinking. They found through their work that clothing did in fact impact and influence cognition. Plus, it greatly influences how people and events were perceived.

You can easily apply the results of this study to workplace clothing in an office setting. Think about how you look at your co-workers. Do you notice when they are dressed especially well? You probably do. It's just a natural inclination to give more importance to people who care about their appearance by dressing sharp. Even if it's not true, it does make you think that the person who is dressed to the nines has everything together and going for them.

Clothing Doesn't Have to Be Pricey to Look Good

It's not about money either, dressing well according to Vogue's Editor in Chief, Anna Wintour, has never been easier because every high-end designer is "working for H&M and Target." Great clothing is accessible on a level it's never been before.

With more and more offices going with a business casual style of dressing, it still makes sense to "dress for the job you want to have, not the one you do." This makes a statement about what you think you are capable of doing in the future. Take care to dress well each and every time you step out of your home for that extra boost of confidence.

4 things every professional should outsource

Are you the kind of person that should outsource your life?

People are working longer hours more than ever but there are still only twenty-four hours in a day. On top of work, we all need to manage our personal lives and our households. For many of us, our time is literally worth money. If you're a high earner, all those little chores and household tasks are costing you serious money per hour. Ultimately, if you outsource simple tasks, that will save you money in the long run.

How efficient are you with your time? If you are like most professionals, you're probably wasting time on too many stressful tasks that you're very poor at completing. That time you are losing can be put to much better use. This no longer has to be an issue. Due to technology, any professional can hack their daily to-do list in order to become more efficient and truly get things done.

On embracing this type of mindset, Tim Ferris lifestyle guru and author of The 4 Hour Work Week and Tools of the Titans states:

"Not only will you have much more time and attention to spend on revenue-generating activities, but you'll get greater enjoyment from what you have and experience."

People who want to live successful lives (whatever that looks like to them) outsource all those basic, time-consuming tasks. If you wish to try this lifestyle for yourself, here are a few services you need to check out.

4 Things To Outsource For Professionals

1. Outsource Errands

No one enjoys running errands but they need to get done. Some are very simple and take very little time, such as getting cash from an ATM. Other errands though can be a serious time drain. Have you ever had to wait in line for a new product or to purchase a ticket?

A service such as TaskRabbit can allow someone else to stand in line for you, while you do something more productive (or fun).

Another great errand app: Postmates, when you need something delivered quick and locally.

Shyp, an app that allows you to take a picture of a package that needs to be shipped is also helpful. A courier will come to your home and ship the package for you.

2. Outsource Cooking

Cooking is a joy for many people but even people who enjoy cooking do not like the grocery shopping process. Going to a supermarket and locating the exact ingredients can be time-consuming and emotionally exhausting for many, especially after a long day at the office. Not to mention the long grocery lines.

At the same time, once the proper ingredients have been chosen, the food must be properly prepared. Various services now exist which eliminate or greatly reduce the time you spend making your daily meals.

Services such as Hello Fresh and Blue Apron will deliver nutritious food directly to you along with cooking instructions. This eliminates the need to go hunting around grocery aisles and standing in line. You are given the exact number of ingredients based on the number of people you are cooking for which eliminates waste.

3. Outsource Laundry

Most professionals at some point get behind on their laundry. It's too easy of a chore to forget until you no longer have any clean clothes.

One very useful service called Red Hanger can get rid of this issue altogether. They will not only come and pick up your dirty clothes but deliver them back to you clean and neatly folded.

One Yelp customer states:

"The only dry cleaner I've had that hasn't damaged or lost a single item. I can't say enough good things about them. They are very personable and friendly."

Red Hanger Testimonials

"Pat's location of Red Hanger is one of two Red Hanger's that I go to. I have taken my clothes to Pat's Red Hanger for about 6 years. Pat is a service champion. She asks me about my recent fishing trips and she is excellent under pressure. Sometimes there are people in the walk in lobby and in the drivethrough and Pat operates smoothly and effeciently. One time the power was out and she was still manually finding stuff on the rotating rack and billing people out seamlessly. I have never had a less than optimal experience here. Way to go Pat!" - Sam N., Salt Lake City

"Red Hanger is amazing!  They can get a stain out of anything, a brand new white shirt with chocolate all over the arm and they got it perfectly clean!  The staff is wonderful, they are amazing people that work there, so friendly, so helpful, kind and they truly care. Thank you Red Hanger!!" - Julie L., Glendale, AZ

"The first time I used this dry cleaner and a great little place. Everyone was super friendly the rates are very reasonable in the clothes came out perfect. A nice touch as they emailed me when they were done which was a day prior  due, super fast service! Highly recommend very professional business." - Pete B., Fort Lauderdale, FL

"I love this place.  I travel almost every week and often need same-day turnaround, they never let me down.  The manager Vanessa is awesome, and I echo the other reviewer regarding her ability to remember who you are, etc.  Big thumbs up.

Thanks for getting my kids putty off my bathrobe :)" - Tim B., Salt Lake City

"I have used this particular Red Hanger for years. The staff, and Vanessa in particular, are wonderful. I drop off my red bag, come bag 24 hours later & it's all great!  They make minor repairs, replace buttons, and let me know if something is askew. Great service!" - Teresa G., Salt Lake City

4. Outsource House cleaning

Keeping a clean residence is a necessity but a huge time suck for most people. Most professionals don't want to set aside an entire morning or afternoon cleaning a bathroom and kitchen.

Enter Maid Right, the Uber of cleaning services. The owner/operators of Maid Right are independent cleaners who adhere to specific guidelines and a checklist set by Maid Right. If you are not satisfied in any way, the cleaners will return within twenty-four hours and rectify the situation at no cost to you.

Ringing in the New Year is full of celebrations and spending time with loved ones. It is a refreshing feeling knowing that the previous year has ended, and a new year is beginning. A new year also means an opportunity for a fresh start...a new years resolution! It's a great time to evaluate your goals and ambitions for the year and make some positive changes in your life. To help get your started on your new year resolutions, here are some helpful top ways to really start the new year off right.

New Years Resolution: Eat Right

Start making a conscious effort to eat better. Most importantly, try to eat at least three times a day, and don't skip breakfast! A balanced breakfast helps to speed overall metabolism and gives you the energy to jumpstart your day. Cut out excessive sweets and fast food. Although both can be tempting, there are ways to avoid both. Have a sweet tooth? Try buying sweet fruits from the grocery store, such as strawberries and raspberries. Eating a small portion of fruit when that sweet craving hits will satisfy your craving and it is actually good for you.

Fast food is usually oily and full of saturated fats. If you opt for fast food because it's quick, try purchasing easy to make food from the grocery store. A one pot chicken and veggies is the perfect solution - throw your ingredients together in one pot, toss it in the oven, and 20 minutes later you have the perfect meal. Eating better will improve your health, overall mood, and happiness!

New Years Resolution: Think Positive

We all have those days where everything seems to be going wrong. This new year, try to think positive and working on a healthy mindset. It's easier said than done, and definitely takes a little bit of practice to master. One way to de-stress and get rid of negative thoughts is through mediation. An easy way to meditate is to find a guided meditation video online. A mere 5 minutes of meditation can drastically improve mood and decrease anxiety.

You can also try to commit to reading more books this new year. Try to trade in one night of television with an hour of reading. Reading is also a great stress reliever and is good for your mental health. Taking walks or runs is also a good way to clear negative thoughts and increase endorphins. A morning hike on your favorite trail or just a quick run around your neighborhood can have life changing effects.

New Years Resolution: Healthier Lifestyle

Getting fit is a common resolution for the new year, but often times doesn't last throughout the year. The key to making a healthy lifestyle a reality is commitment. First, get a gym membership right away if you don't have one already, find a great hiking trail nearby, or get some home exercise equipment. I personally have an indoor exercise bike. Next, find a workout buddy. Having a friend or coworker to workout with will help you stay motivated. It also helps to make a workout schedule. Plan your workouts each day to give yourself time and obligation to exercise. Try an hour in the early morning before work or during your lunch break.

Committing to a healthier lifestyle doesn't stop at the gym! Make sure to start getting 8 hours of sleep a day. We often forget how important a good night's sleep is for our body's health. Lastly, drink more water this new year. Aim for at least a half-gallon of water per day. Drinking more water helps with weight loss, improves overall mood, flushes out toxins, makes your skin glow, and helps you stay alert and awake all day!

A new year is the perfect time to set your goals for the year and make healthier choices for your lifestyle. Think about what you want to improve in your life, make an achievable plan to make it happen, and commit to it!

Are you committed to saving your family time and money this year? Then try out Red Hanger's Laundry service with the link below! Also, feel free to read our published blog post to read out three different new years resolutions for your home this year!

Which, is key when people are visiting breweries and looking to attend a baseball game. There are also numerous little shops that combine a unique living arrangement with a number of eclectic lines of work that people will find intriguing.

When most people think of Valentine's Day ideas, they tend to think about taking their loved ones on expensive dates. However, that does not have to be the case. It is still possible to take your girlfriend out on an inexpensive date that reminds them of how much you love them. In any case, it is the thought that matters when someone truly loves you. Choose a budget friendly valentine's date idea from this list.

Visit the Bonneville Salt Flats

These salt flats comprise of 90% table salt are a fun getaway for Valentine's Day. They are 5 miles wide and 12 miles long. The 30,000-acre stretch of a white salt crust is cheap and interesting for couples to spend time together. On this stretch of land that contains over 147 million tonnes of salt, visitors can drive as fast as they like for the adrenaline rush. Additionally, there are usually not many people on the salt flats. Best of all, there are no entry charges. The salt flats are very quiet; there are usually very few visitors to the salt flats. You can thus use the quietness of the salt flats, 120 miles west of Salt Lake City to reconnect with a loved one.

Use Coupons

Couples going out on their first date may not be comfortable about using coupons for restaurants or movies. However, couples that have been dating for a while can feel comfortable about doing it. It is a fun way for couples to acknowledge that they need to save money. If you have been fortunate to acquire some coupons, Valentine's Day is a good time to use them. Additionally, you can use any coupons that you have acquired for attractions such as museums and concerts.

Do Fun Things at Home

At times, the best dates are the ones that you spend at home. Simply invite another couple over to your house. Spend the night playing various games such as guessing games or other types of fun games. The two of you can choose to spend the night together playing board games. There are endless selections from which you can choose. However, this is only encouraged for couples that have been together for a significantly long time.

Go Ice Skating

The South Davis Recreation Center is a great way for you to spend you Valentine's Day together. Not only will you have fun, but it is also an excellent way to stay fit. There are other fun things that couples can do together besides skating. There are friendly competitions held there each day. Bring your lover along on a skating experience that the both of you will enjoy. Have as much fun as you can, falling on the ice, and helping each other up. At the end of it all, visit the snack bar and order some drinks. It will be a cheap but memorable Valentine's Day experience. Ensure that you record as much of the experience as you can on your phone.

Celebrate The Two of You

The point about Valentine's Day is to celebrate the love that the two of you share as a couple. However, it has been turned into a day of spending lots of money, which should not be the case. It is the time that you remind each other that it is all about having fun and being with each other. You should not be worried because things have not been working out financially well for you thus far. As long as you have each other, you can still make some priceless memories. At the end of it all, remember to remind your loved one how much they mean to you and why you fell in love with them. And, want to learn about more fun things to do now that Red Hanger is picking up your laundry? Well, just read our published blog post!

This train ride will give you beautiful views: you'll get to see the Wasatch Mountains, and you'll also get to see Provo Canyon. You'll love that you can take scenic rides, and you can also take a dinner train, where you eat on board and make sure to enjoy the scenery at the same time. This train ride is great for all ages, and it's a perfect traveling adventure for you and your family to go on while you're in Park City.

Utah Olympic Park

Don't forget that Utah has a history of the Winter Olympics right in Park City! Utah Olympic Park, is also an Olympic training site, made to give you hours of fun as you seek to go for the gold (and the gusto). You can participate in numerous activities, including Bobsled, Alpine Slide rides, and Zipline, and you'll love the Adventure Courses. There is even a Drop Tower that you can participate in. There is also a Freestyle Aerial show that you can catch while you are there, and you will be sure to fill up your day with all kinds of fun adventures that you will take back with you. Also, the park has free admission! What more could you want?

Swaner Preserve & Ecocenter

This is one way to really get in touch with nature this January, in a pristine environment that is made for preservation and beauty. This is a 1,200 acre nature preserve, and there's also a 10,000 square foot building with interactive computerized displays that show you everything you want to know about the environment around you. There are all kinds of things offered, including nature tours (every week), and you can also view the wildlife while you're there. If your kids have a good time, they can go back for summer camp, too! You can also bike, hike, or snowshoe on site.

As you can see, these things can keep you plenty busy in Park City. Park City is just a stone's throw away from Salt Lake City, so, if you're ready, you can get there quickly and see some beautiful nature while you're at it. It's the perfect place to visit to make sure you get to experience all that Utah has to offer in January. Be sure to book your trip on your calendar, and see what all you can learn about Utah on your adventure over the mountains. We bet you'll love it, and that you'll be sure to want to return again and again.
